| This looks like it might be a DNS issue, not sure whether you've looked at that as a possibility. Try pinging bbc.co.uk, and then pinging 212.58.224.131.

| Pinged both, and received reply. Still no connection via Web Browser. Uninstalled the hardware and reinstalled, ran Microsoft's TCP/IP Repair Connection Wizzard, still noting. Tomorrow is a new day, and I'll try once again. _______________________________________________ Notes -- thanks Ash (posted above), I didn't pay attention to this: = Check HOST file for SIRC32.EXE et al. and scan for double-extension files ( " *.doc.pif " -- e.g.) in Outlook mail, address book, and Temp files. Looking for "SirCam", possibility! Notes HOST = c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts HOST = c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts loopback = 127.0.0.1 localhost Last edited by Tom; 06-23-2007 at 02:41 AM. Reason: Added Note To Self |

| Hmm... just noticed something in there that might be to do with the machine's HOSTS file. You might want to take a look and see if there's anything unusual in there....
