I am running an ethernet network using a linksys router. I have 2 desk tops with an h.p. printer
as the default printer. On one desktop I have a usb label printer. I have the software file and the printer set to share on the network. I can open and use the software off the other computer but can't see the label printer when I go to the printer and fax folder. Can the usb printer be shared on the network? Thanks for any input.

Can you just clarify the following:
Which printer do you want to share, the HP printer or the label printer?
Could you give us the model numbers of both [and the make of the label printer]?
What OS are you running? And can you share other printers without problems?

Yes I am running xp home on both computers
also I can share the h p printer with no problems.
the label printer is a brother model QL500
HP printer is an Office Jet 7200
