Angry yellow light on belkin

hi to all havin a problem with my belkin54g box again its been running great since i moved it of the tv an mounted it on the wall no more crashes, upto the other day seems to be worse at night. what happens is that the port light ive got a vonage box voip and the skydigi box phone line plugged into goes orrange an the box wont respond to net activities or networkin i know when it turns orange it means the box has change from 10 something to a 100 something but it dont say in the instuctions anything about shuttin the other systems down while its doin this so is it faulty. please help

Hmm - what model number and version number does the router have [there should be a white sticker on the bottom. Try unplugging and replugging the power cord to make it reboot and see if the orange light comes on.

Depending on your version number, this is either nothing to worry about or an indicator of a possible problem.

its model number is fsd7230-4 not sure about the version number, i cant find a version number on the stickers, and i have to pull the power out every time it does it to get it working proper again. ive even kept the reset button in for 30 sec while powerin up to reset back to factory settings redid all the security and all that and thought ide stopped it till the other morning when i found it to be the same again

i have noticed its still getting hot at night strange really as its mounted on a wall that feels cold and it dont seem todo it in the day time only night

As it's getting hot you might want to consider getting a free replacement from Belkin - I also had a router that would get hot. It seems like quite a few of these routers are faulty. Phone the number on the box. Alternatively, take it back to where you got it from [After I broke the Belkin replacement Staples had no problems replacing mine several months after the purchase].
