| Hi, heres my story. I got a few bad grades in school so my dad does something with the router (i have wireless internet from it) where he sets a time limit on the router sending me internet. So the router now sends me internet from 9-10 pm. Is there anyway I can somehow bypass this time limit thing so i can have unlimited internet again? thanks |

| Hi. To answer your question, yes, there is a way to get around it. The solution I'm going to give you is get better grades. I'm not going to get in between a kid and their parent's decision to limit internet usage, so I won't be the one to tell you how to get around the time limit issue. Sorry.

| Hi there 123456789, Firstly welcome to CompuForums, I hope that you can stick around and post here rather than vanish, never to return once we've given you our advice which is a really unfair thing to do. It's pretty much impossible to crack the router's limits - you'll need the router password which you'll need to guess, plus it's easy for your dad to change it. You might be able to do a hard reset on it - but - the best thing to do would be to get good grades. Getting past the limit will only anger your dad more, and he might just disallow you from accessing it altogether. Cracking the limit would constitute as hacking, which is something we can't allow to be discussed here.
