hello everyone, ive been having some trouble with this piece of junk E-machine of my dads, since i cannnot afford to buy a computer after my power supply shorted out and did something to prevent booting to my motherboard.... ugh i have to use my dads, and for the past few times ive taken this beast to a lan party, we hook up and i cannot see any of the other computers! everyone else can see mine and eachother and mine can be accessed (since i turned on sharing...) but i can't see or access anyone else.

for our old network, i had Direcway Satellite internet (i hated it but it was the only high speed option) and we recently got rid of that, i dont know if the software had any sort of interfearence (i just uninstalled it like a half hour ago). and i know we were somewhat properly networked since we could all play games together (they love playing warcraft FT and starcraft BW but sadly no 1st person shooters...

does anyone have any idea what my problem could be i know these things are hard to figure out without being on the pc and network but i trust you guys
