Wireless router trouble?

Ok so I have a netgear wireless router and it worked perfectly for a good day or two and then when I try to hook it up it just doesn;t connect to the internet but then once I hook it up to the modem it works so I don't understand why Its not working now?

Did you try to renew the Ip address ? what about restarting the Modem?

If anything what is the model of the netgear

umm it's the netgear wgr614 v6 and how do you refresh the ip adress?

Try re-installing the software for the router see if that helps any, but make you un-install it first.

Ok that sounds good I will try all that wait should I put my hard ware to my router on my computer on the one with the modem and the one reciveing the internet from the router?

Connect everything as needed and give it a try.. try to reset the modem aswell.

Yea I got it hooked up again and its working fine for about an hour so hopefully it works all the time now and doesn't stop working thanks
