| And, are all the other computers operating at full speed? It's likely your computer's wireless card is set to 802.11b only.

| It sounds like the adapter is set to operate in 802.11b mode only--you can change this in the cards settings. I'm assuming you're using windows XP. Go to the start menu, then the control panel. Open up Network Connections. Right click on your wireless adapter and select Properties. Under the General tab, click on the "Configure..." box at the upper-right of the window. The select "Advanced" in the window that appears. There should be some setting in the window that deals with the mode the adapter works in--select b/g or g instead of b. I hope that helps.
