Sorry in advance for the dumb question. I installed a wireless g adapter on my son's computer this weekend and want to know the easiest way to access the internet from his computer.
We use Verizon high speed DSL and of course on my computer there is a little icon on the desktop for easy access. Can I set his computer up to have a verizon icon and homepage access?

Yes we have a router and we are connected. I want to know how I go about getting the verizon homepage set up on his computer so we don't have to go searching for it everytime we log on to the internet. I know this is a lame question...sorry.

When you got DSL installed in your home, did you get a CD with it?
How did you get your computer set up?

Yes, I got a cd with the service. Do I run that on the networked computer as well?

I would put the CD in your sons computer and see if it will set up the computer.
I am pretty sure that's what you need to do.

If you have a wireless router then you don't need to install anything on that laptop. It's probaly just the ISP's customised version of Internet Explorer [which is very insecure and isn't nearly as good as Firefox - ]Firefox - Rediscover the Web. Assuming you have your router set up right, it should be a matter of turning the wireless on on the laptop, and connecting to your router. Then the machine will be internet-connected.

so u just want to change the home page on the computer when u access the net from ya sons computer. if thats it just go to control panel internet an network connections then intenet options then change the home page to the one u want
an every time u connect to the net ya home page will be there. if thats what u was askin
