| I have just ordered my first laptop, a Gateway MX3702. I was planning on using a Sprint aircard for my internet connection. I ordered before I noticed that the computer has an express card slot not a pc card slot. Does anyone know if the aircard I ordered will still work on my laptop? Sprints website says it requires a type II pc card slot. Is this interchangable with the express card slot> HEEEELP! |

| Hi Scott, Welcome to CompuForums. I hope that you find our community helpful and help us by posting often. Also it would be great if you could add yourself to our member map. As far as I'm aware, the card will not be compatible. But do you want the card for standard wireless internet access or celluar-network based internet connectivity?

| You should be able to find an Aircard/datacard that offers either ExpressCard compatibility or USB compatibility. You might be able to get a good deal on one if you contact your data provider.
