since i have got wireless, some websites don't work, e.g. halifax.co.uk and myspace.com

when i go on proxies the site loads fine, any ideas on how to fix this?

Does the router have any settings for filtering websites? If so these may be causing the problems, especially if it's a second-hand, refurb, open-box or returned-to-store unit.

You may wish to put your ISPs DNS Server Details into the router and the clients. Sometimes the router auto determines the wrong DNS Server. This happened to me and IP LookUps are inaccurate or out of date. Looking on your ISP's website and entering these details manually may help.
