I think that if people want to eat meat, they should respect where it comes from.

I have no problems with other people eating meat, I just have problems when people say things like 'animals are there to be eaten'. They are clearly not, and a fine example of pure stupidity of the fast amount of the human race.

But in the end, Meh. Do what you're happy with doing

You do know the animals that do get killed were born for that purpose right?

But that doesn't make it okay to do so.
How about if they started to breed humans to test out chemicals on? No one would stand for that...

I'd say that animal testing is a whole lot different to animal eating...

Many different species eat their own kind, including humans. Many tribes in the Amazon still do eat each other.

You said species don't et their own.
It doens't matter what species do, the point is that they do. I could of gone and picked out spiders, birds fish...

And why it is okay to grow fruit and veg to eat, but not animals? Is that what you are asking me?

If so, do you really need me to answer that?

Yea I do. You should have more or an issue with hunter who hunt for sport not for food instead of farmers. Its amazing how you nut job vegetarians always pull things out of there ass and once again spiders seriously and when was the last time you have seen a bald eagle eat another bald eagle.

I believe that choosing to be a vegetarian does not make me a "nut job" and I think you should apologise for that remark WG. Why not look at the health reasons for not eating animals? High fat diets are responsible for numerous diseases and cost millions of dollars in health care. I'm talking about saturated fats here - the kind you find in animals. I have stated previously that I am not a "born again vegetarian". When we give you our reasons for our choice we get abuse. I don't condemn people who do eat meat and I don't question their reasons for that choice. Please show us the same courtesy.
