The Grand Canyon probably was a slope that then started to crumble. Either that or a asteroid [of a relatively soft / more likely to erode] crashed to form the canyon. There are too many flaws in nature for it to have been created.

i reckon (my personal opinion, not meant to annoy), is that god was created by the human mind, because people are scared of what is beyond our human life... and that if religions were never created, the world would be a much better place: many wars are due to religious beliefs; there would be less criticism to what people wear/ look like; some marriages are not allowed because of religions; and people in general would be nice to each other (less bullying)... also some cultures are - in my mind - sick!

as for human life, i believe that the answer is what the first post says.... scientifically rather than theoretically, and also, there has to be life outside of out solar system, and i believe that the reason that everything to do with space life/ galaxies/ universes... is so complicated, is because we are not meant to find out what is out there.... we should spend the money and resources or bettering our world, relieving poverty... etc.

oh my goodness. i am so shocked to see a post like this. but my two cents would be a fully support the idea of being created in the image of God. i don't belive in that evolution stuff.

This is a pic of the Colorado River inside the Grand Canyon when I was there a few years ago. It looks sloped as the rubble runs down to the water's edge. It's just very steep as much of the rock retains it's form.

Also, compacted sand bluffs on the side of the Chippewa River and in the Holloway reservoir here in Michigan look the same as the sheer parts of the depicted cliffs. Swallows dig into these sand "cliffs" to make their nests.

It's unique and beautiful sceenery to be sure, but in terms of creation, nothing really looks out of place here.
