Default Adding a media player to my forum

Hi All,
I hope one of you could help me with this.
I want to add a media player to my forum but I just dont understand the tech talk on the sites I have looked into for help and the other sites want me to pay for it.
Can any of you help me?

It would depend a lot on what forum software you are running, etc.

It is proboards, the site is The Greyhound Breeding and Racing Forum and TBH I am a complete dunce when it comes to software.

As far as I know, because Proboards is a shared service and therefore you can't edit the code nessescary to add media.

You've already brought a domain - why not spend some money on some hosting? You can run free forum software or paid software like we run here - and you get full control over every aspect of your site.
I run AshServ Hosting - packages start at $0.99 a month, and you can add your own ads rather than the ones Proboards insert and make it all back.

I will have to talk to another guy involved in the site about that as we should have a new site up and running within two weeks, we may then avail of your services as we aint going to go bust on 0.99 per month.
