Default Pets vs PC

For PC geeks who spend all their time on the PC, rather than playing with their pets (even if they are ugly) ... found this one on MySpace. Note the HDD ribbon shredded and dangling ...

lol. I've seen that before. So what is the point of this thread. I think you should make a poll of whether you spend more time on your pc or your pets, and which you would rather have. Hope you don't mind, I added a poll. Just pm, and I'll take it down if you want.

There is no point to this thread, that's why its here in the Lounge.

Any way, my vote is for the PC. Thought the pic is humorous. I've had a cat who would get on my desk and lay in front of the monitor every time I would make use of our PC.

Ya, one of my cats likes to do that. He whines until I pet him.

Pets. I would even give up this site, for my pets. I have two dogs, along with several fish [some in the garden pond, some in the tropical tank].

My old cat had a favourite spot: My computer chair. The cat and the chair are both gone now, but I remember how I'd come home to find her there, and there wouldn't be any chance for me to sit down!

I can't decide, because I don't have any pets.
We live in the country so about every 3 years we get a stray dog or 2 that come around.

Though a few years ago a stray white lab wondered over, I'd say it was 2 or 3 years old.
Dad let me keep it. I had it for one week, then it went into the woods and killed a wild turkey.
Dad immedietly called the pound and had them take it away to be .

I don't know why Dad was so picky about it. I mean it was just a stupid wild turkey, who cares if it gets killed. That's no reason to send the dog off to a pound to be killed. How was it supposed to know?

I say PC.
Having a pet is a little too much...
No way in hell we're getting a fish, we had one and it got too fat for its tank.
My dad's allergic to dogs AND cats...
A bird would be a problem too. We already have birds building nests on our house. And I'm not cleaning anything up from anything's ass.

But what about combining them? Virtual pets are easier to take care of. And they cost much less than real pets. And, when you're not using them, nothing can happen (And I don't think you'd want to "use" your pet lol)

i just saw this tread today and never got the chance to vote. but if i did, i wouldn't be able to decide. i love pets. they give you a reason to go do something outside. but, then again, i love my computer. it gives me a reason to stay inside(a/c rules!) and i get to talk to you guys!
