When you host get the IP address.
Then the people that want to join click on direct ip and type in the hosters ip and password and then hit enter.

yeah any pc

best if you have high speed cable though , that way people with lower speeds can run without lag , when i get my pc fixed i can host games all the time

Well, I'll install halo and host a game. I'll make it Blood Gulch, Slayer, Server Name: Compuforums, Password: compuforumsFTW. I need to find my stupid box for the product key first. I'll tell you when I've installed it and made a server.
