| I am interested in to know what are your thoughts regarding this. Science Aristarchus of Samos was a Greek astronomer and mathematician who was born in the Greek island of Samos and lived from approximately 310BC through 250BC. Aristarchus is best known for two things, his belief that the Earth revolves around the Sun and his work attempting to determine the sizes of the sun and moon and the distance between them. Bible "The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose. (Ecclesiastes 1:5). there should be no doubt in every ones mind about this because this what we witness in our daily life when the sun rises from one direction and sets to the other direction "Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved" (I Chronicles16:30). So which one would you choose to believe? |

| hi dimitri, even tho i dont clearly get your choice of the above two. what do you mean by the sun isnt in the place that it looks like its in? where is it before and where is it now? would you belive your ears over your eyes? another question for you is that do you think Christianity has contributed to our civilization? |

| The Bible is true. Your actually talking about Bible verses Evolution. The Bible says that God Created everything(Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth). Evolution basically comes down to say we came from rocks. If you listen closely to some teachers in school you'll sort of see what I mean. Hope this helps. |

| Hm... do you you know that it is true? Has there ever been any evidence that the bible is true? Because I've never seen any...

| There is no other explanation that I can see. I think that the Idea that we came from rocks is stupid. Wherefore I can see how God could create the world. God has always existed, he created the earth man and beast, He had to die for us on the cross for our sins so that we could live eternaly in heaven. And 3 days after Jesus died on the cross, he was raised and decended up into heaven, and if we want to go to heaven we have to believe in Him. This may sound impossible but Mark 10:27 says, All things are possible with God. It is easier for me to belive that there is a God who love me and cares for me so much that he died for me, than to believe that we came from rocks. I am looking forward to going to heaven where I will never die. If you want I will write something that explains it a 'lot more clear. |

| Well, who knows if some idiot just took him off the cross over night and hid him where no one would see. And if you think I'm going to hell, I wouldn't be because the inside of the earth is literally hotter than the sun. ~Sean

| Evolution occurs in a vacuum. This is proven. Thus, if man comes from rock, why is there still rock? If man comes from ape (or primate), why is there still ape? RNA cannot evolve into DNA -- that's an impossibility. An evolution vacuum eliminates the possibility of man 'evolving' from anything other than man, but in a differing form (altered DNA). Science supports the bible, and there is not one gram of evidence where science disproves it. Science is a 'supporting' element. |

| The Bible is true.. I would never believe Science over the Bible even if I was at gun point and I had to choose Science.

| Im an athiest, and im always going to be. i dont see how i can get my self to believ that there is some higher power governong over all of us. i personally think thats idiotic. no offense, i mean if its your belief then its your belief, but for me it just aint happenin. Theres no way i could get myself to believe anythng in the bible either. You, yourself, has to admit that you have no idea who wrote the bible, simply because you don't, and that you have no idea how many times it has been revised over the years to where it has gotten now. You never no, someone way back when could have been describing what they thought happened in an exagerating way, then once its on paper, people have no choice but to believe what it says. I think there is no god, and i honestly never think i will believe in a god. just ain't happenen' folks. And if you think im going to hell, well, good luck with that one, i dont believe in that either. -Matt

| What do I believe? I believe in both Scripture and evolution. I believe Scripture wa sinspired by God. I believe evolution is the author of evolution. There is nothing wrong with evolution, and evidences of it is supported by Scripture. However, Scripture does not support the idea that man evolved from "rock' or some other form. For example, Eve was apparently created from the "rib of man" (Adam). Scientifically, the rib contains DNA that would significantly support the 'evolution' of lower-man to evolved-man. Thus, various 'evolutionary' snipits can be found in Scripture. |
