Default How to post new threads

Here is a simple guide for anyone who happens to be having trouble posting new threads....

Before we start, if you have not already registered, you will need to do so now. Click here to register your FREE membership.

1) From the CompuForums homepage, select the board where you want your new thread to appear by clicking on it's name [displayed in blue]. For example if it was something about hard drives you would select the "Internal" forum.
2)Once in the forum you wish to post the thread in, click on the New Thread button which can be found just above the table of topics on the left hand side:

3)Type in your subject and message.

If you are still having trouble posting new threads after reading this thread then please contact us.
Notes when posting new thread:
1) To post new threads or replies, you need a free account here. Just register for free to get a username and password to use here. Once you have your user name and password you may post new threads and replies.
2) Make sure your thread complies with the rules [which you agreed to follow when you signed up] otherwise you may be punished.
3) If you are posting about a problem, rather than just saying "HELP!!!", it's better if you put a brief description of the problem in the subject, for example, "Computer will not boot" is better than something like "HELP ME PLEASE!"
4) Make sure you are posting in the appropriate forum. The introductions forum is not for computer help and posting your message in the first forum on the list will not mean that it will be answered faster.
