| I would like to make a print of my desktop including where all the icons are located, but all I'm getting on the print screen is the background photo. is there a way of printing the desktop as I'm seeing it with all the icons ? |

| You should be able to get the whole desktop by pressing just Print Screen, and not holding anything like Alt down at all.

| Once you have pressed it, did you paste it into a graphics program like Paint? Try this: 1) Press print screen [only print screen] 2) Open up Paint or a similar program 3) Select the Paste option [CTRL+V] You should now see whatever was on your screen when you pressed Print Screen.
