May I say first that I find CompuForums very easy to navigate, & has an excellent layout, I am already a member of another forum but thought I'd stretch my wings a littlle & I am now glad that I have!
I have a little knowledge of computers, enough for me to get by regarding basic things, so I'm always glad of further help from the techies here, um, would you tell me when will I be allowed to download a custom avatar, I have tried & it was shown as being in place, but it hasn't appeared on my posts.

yes you can use custom avatars providing that they are of the specified size. have a look in user control panel and it should tell you the maximum physical size or maximum kb size.
