Well, this is my first posting in a forum, EVER, so forgive me if I stutter. My username kind of sums it up, I've recently aquired a vaio running vista, and am working on making the insides nice enough that I don't mind it's flimsy construction so much Ended up here because I want to switch to XP, and wondering if I can do it myself. Vista hasn't really impressed me - don't hate it, but also don't have the time or need to personalize everything, which is the only real improvement over xp as far as I can see. So the only difference for me is that it takes twice as long to download any software, and so on and so forth. Hope that doesn't sound too whiny! I am looking forward to keeping up with the forums! Thank you for the warm welcome. I think this will be an invaluable tool for me, as I do not have too much knowledge about the ways that programs, software, etc. work; but I spent the last two years (I am currently going back to grad school next fall) working in paid search advertising, so I hope that experience will prove relevant and helpful to some fellow members.
