Hi. I'm new here. I just realized two days ago that Vista sucks. It looks cool and flashy, but that doesn't cut it when it performs so horribly. Grrr.

what does for a few months mean?

Seems self explanatory. Like a freshly loaded XP OS. The registry gets some junk in the trunk, the bloat of updates, and other programs. Fragmentation, and other little things just add up. It's nickling and Diming.

hell my server has had 2000 on it for years.... never a reinstall , format nothing.... I dont find it nessecary to format that often , i do it about once each year though .... but i dont see much performance gain
