Hello,
I just joined this forum, after reading some of the posts. I have been working with computers for the federal government for about 15 years now. Most of my job entails computer programming with a little bit of systems administration. I use a lot of Linux, mainly for development work, but also have a passing interesting in Windows.

It really depends on what I am doing though, as each operating system has their own advantage. In general, I prefer Linux, since I can get in there and tinker a little more. Most people do not care for tinkering, so Windows is their preference. Someday I will give a Mac a try (probably real soon!)

Oh well, I am starting to babble, see you on the boards!
