Default I guess: Better Late than Never.

Howdy all,

Just a quick intro, after a few months of adding posts. I'm Thaylok (one of my alter ego names). (quiet down in there voices, or I'll use the q-tip again)
Sorry, where was I before the voices in my head started talking again?
Oh yes, I found CompuForums when it was listed in the Site of the day. I hopped on, browsed and found some places I could try to help. I did eventually have a question or two, and was provided with great help when they arose. Still, I'm hanging around trying to see if I can help others.

I work desktop help desk support for a library at a university close to where I live (50 mile commute one way). I'm an enigma, as I have a degree in Broadfield Agriculture, and have several IT certifications. I studied Agricultural Engineering at Texas A&M University. So, I'm not a total redneck. (I only have 25 hrs of college math under my belt, I even passed one or two). TAMU is the best for my desired degree being established to teach the Agricultural and Mechanical (engineering) sciences.
I found one thing working for the State of Texas and that is that the pay STINKS, but the benefits (STABILITY, INSURANCE, COWWORKERS, and understanding compassionate supervisors) are well worth it.

Anyway, back to work now, Hi again.

Well... I guess it's a very late welcome then

Seriously though, the team and I certainly appreciate your posts here, and what you do does not go un-noticed
