| Hello everybody, Born in New Jersey and now live in Pennsylvania USA. First became interested in computers and the Internet in 1997. I have no formal training in computers or the Internet. All of my knowledge comes from books and empirical work. The best book I have read is Windows XP Home third edition by Robert Cowart and Brian Knittel. This is a Que book and is one of the very best to build your knowledge of computers and the Internet. Years ago, I came across a book written by two people that worked for Windows. Unfortunately, I don’t remember their names or the title, but it helped me understand many of the ambiguities and tricks in computers. When I have a problem the first thing I do is to refer to the Que book and most of the time I can resolve the problem. If you are an investor on Wall Street using the Internet can be an advantage because it puts you one-step ahead of most investors. JSB |
