I just signed up. A little better than fair at computing. Can usually get myself out of trouble. Need some help on a new Lenovo. US robotics wireless will not connect. Will not aquire network address. This is 2nd computer as the first one had software problems (of course Misrosoft would do nothing except charge me). When I first started this one up, it worked (connected and surfed) for abour two hours then just quit surfing. It never connected wireless side. I have two other laptops in the house that are fine, no problems. With the 1st one (Lenovo), I was on with Tech Support (Lenovo, MS, ISP and US robotics) for over 6 hours in two days. I just wanted to update and am having problems with my Sotec 820P. The motherboard is going out on it again. Now this one doesn't seem to want to work either. Are there some gurus out there that are smarter than the Tech Supports? Any help would be appreciated.
