When I go back to a site that requires a password,etc. my computer won't remember automaticly, even though I check the box to remember.

Which browser are you using?

Mozilla Firefox

Check your settings. If you have usernames and passwords that are saved within a cookie and you also have your settings to dump everything on exit you lose that info.
