Im not too sure on this one. You could try and re-install firefox and then re-install flash again.

ok never mined, its fixed.
Feel kinda stupid but it was an easy solution. i had to remove firefox, then i went in the synaptics and got rid of firefox there aswell and then i got rid of the flash plug in they gave me then i reinstalled firefox and flash and it is so far working great.
nope cancel that, doesnt work. i just got lucky

Firefox works fine on my other comuter which has XP, could it be a Ubuntu thing?

I have found that I dont have the issue as much with windows as I do with Linux, but that could just be a conscience

I have had a similar problem to this whilst using FireFox & Ubuntu.
To me, it seems like Ubuntu closes down any applications that are using up too much CUP power.

At first I thought this was a bug, so I tried running it in terminal, but there were no errors displayed. So as you do get an error, I'm guessing your problem is slightly different from mine.

I may be wrong here, but I think there are a number of different flash plugins for Firefox. Have you tried un-installing it, and choosing another one?

... I have also found this on the internet: grumpymole: Ubuntu Firefox Flash Crash - this fix works for me

It has seemed to worked for a lot of other people..
