Exclamation IE Upgrade Problems

Everytime I upgrade to IE 7 or 8, it gets corrupted after rebooting the computer. I have to painstakingly uninstall it and use IE6 SP3. How can i solve this problem?

Well Ilove the Opera browser, but I like to have a lot of addons etc. SO atm I'm running FireFox. So I would reccomend either one of those. Still, its up to you really... see what you get on with better.

Mozilla ftw for me. IE always crashed on me, and never at a particularly good moment. Firefox does, too, but not enarly as often. I only keep IE to make windows update go a little quicker. Other than that, I never use it. I may have to try that safari one, though.

I use Firefox for normal browsing, and IE7 for financial transactions only. i could do it the other way, or with other browsers, that part does not matter much.

The most important part is not to check your bank account with your surfing browser, or make any financial transactions. This keeps cookies separate, and hopefully keeps the browser exploits to a minimum (one browser).

I use FF for normal surfing, because I like it more. I'd consider using it for financial transactions, but then I'd be stuck with IE7 or some other browser for surfing. I really like my NoScript and Adblock plus (and other add-on extensions).

That is a brilliant idea Thaylok... thank you! I have IE 7 and FF and I use IE for work and FF for personal but I have always just gone into my banking site using whichever one I was on at the time. Now I am going to choose one for my banking and nothing else. The problem is I have different favs/bookmarks in both of them so I will have to try and transfer them all to one. Hmmm.. now which will I choose?
