| Okay this may sound dumb, but I am trying to figure out if the issue I am having is my issue or my schools wireless network. They recently have been updating the crap out of my schools wireless to try to catch up to people with vista and w/e, but these guys kinda suck i guess. My current issue at school(there have been many) is that I can receive but not send email from windows mail. (I run vista and just use the default windows mail thingy) I have checked and checked to see if they have changed the servers, but as far as I can tell they haven't. I was wondering if anyone could offer some suggestions cause I am stumped. I can still receive mail through windows mail, and I can send mail if i go to the school's page and log in, but no dice when sending stuff from windows mail. | This is probably because standard email systems [pop3/stmp] use two different potrocols and two different ports - and your school admins have probable opened the POP3 port but not the STMP one - yet. As a tempory solution, you may wish to use mail2web.com - Pick Up Your Email for a while.

| There are plenty of other email to web systems, you could even grab some webspace from AshServ :: Hosting For Everyone and run your own. I personally have used the system and I doubt they actually monitor emails going in/out.
