Default drop down menu etc.

How do you delete items from a drop down menu. On google for instance I find I have a long list of things that are annoying when posting a new question the drop down is getting longer by the day. Thank you.
Brian.

Try this:
Open Internet Explorer.
On the Tools menu, click Internet Options. Then click the Content tab.
Next, choose the AutoComplete button.
Check off Clear Forms and/or Clear Passwords to clear all saved items from the AutoComplete history.
Click OK a couple of times to exit.

You may find it easier to clear this sort of Data if you ran Firefox. It lets you clear your data with a single keystroke, or even when you close your browser. Plus it's more secure and there's less chance of viruses and spyware as a result of downloading some bad software. We have written a guide on it, and it's located at the following URL:

In either case(firefox or IE), Go to the form field and do not type anything. Press the down arrow, and then start deleting the entries. Other option, is to clear a specific registry location. but the first method is quicker/easier. This method does not require turning off Auto Complete or form field memory.
