Default Streamer - internet radio

I just recently came across this program which is pretty cool. Its call Streamer. Its a p2p radio where anyone can make a station and stream music.

The reason i think its cool is that someone with Sirius streams the Howard Stern channel Howard 100. So you can listen to todays show with a bit of a delay. Another person streams Opie and Anthony, but i think it just might be only the FM version, through out the day. There are a couple of channels that have music and stand-up.

Just thought i would let you all know of this cool find.

I'm sure that you enjoy that, but then your missing and ignoring all of what Howard is saying. As a dedicated listener of the show from age 8, I feel offended that you would want to steal his work.

I'm all for P2P, but being against this, does it make me a hipacrite?

I was a Howard Stern fan before he went to Sirius. But i don't think i should have to pay to listen to him. The reasons he said you should pay because he claims there are no commercials and its more "uncensored". That is bull**** because there are a lot of commercials during his show. And him "uncensored" is really them saying the F word, which to me didn't add much to the show. If he wants to screw people by telling them to pay him so there are no commercials, then i'm going screw him by not paying.

And to be honest with you, his show is actually getting boring. I would rather listen to Opie and Anthony now.

I disagree. I believe that letting him be uncensored and free allows the show to thrive like it never has before. If you will recall, when he was on regular radio, a lot of his clips were being cut and censored for no reason. On Sirius, all of it is played and I find it much more enjoyable. At the same time, I feel the same way you do about Howard as I feel with Opie & Anthony.

But, you are right, there are way to many commercials. At which point, I listen to classic rock on Sirius.

I hear what you are saying. But i think of it as, I use p2p programs for other things, so why not use it for him. He doesn't need the little bit of money that my subscription to Sirius would affect him at all. If my subscription would matter i probably would subscribe, but until then im going to enjoy him this way.
