Sites that block Firefox due to Adblocker are just losing potential traffic. If someone is blocking ads, it is highly unlikley that they would have clicked on any of them in the first place.

Default Thanks!

I've got a few add-ons for Firefox, but haven't had the time or motivation to sort through the extensive list of apps to decide which might be beneficial. Thank you for posting!

VideoDownloader is practically dead already. It's in the sandbox and doesn't really work. I suppose youtube have changed the algorithm, and VideoDownloader isn't updated to that algorithm.

I had an excellent addon, though I forget it's name. It would show you the IP of the server you were connected to (so you could verify it was legitimate). I.E if you're loading paypal from a link and want to make sure it's not a phishing site, just look at the IP up there and check it with paypal's. If it's the same, you're golden

hey guys, i dont know which of you likes using the mouse over keyboard, but theres a great add on called mouse gestures that lets you use the mouse for things like reload, back, forward, view source, new tab, new page, close window, and such.

I like the Real player downloader because it is so simple to use.
Firefox is such an improvement from Internet Explorer overall.

Red face Firefox add ons

Stumble is the best - very informative and entertaining. Helps broaden my horizons. Enjoy,http://www.compuforums.org/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, StumbleUpon is an awesome add-on. I wouldn't say it's essential or a must-have, but it is fun and informative. I use it a lot at work to make the time pass by a little quicker.

Pic Lense - for Windows & Mac

This has got to be one of the coolest plugins I've seen for firefox. Its a shame there in't one for Linux, but I have heard that they are developing a *nix one atm

So pic lense is a different way to viewing pictures on a webpage. It works on most of the biggest sites out there, like Myspace, divantart, and Google images. below is a screen shot of it in action:
