| The Opera Web Browser (Opera Web Browser) is good, and very stable. The download for Windows is 4.67 MB. I use it as an alternative, and when I'm required to vist "risky" websites. The latest is Opera 9.10 and is available for Windows. There are also Opera add-ins available at Opera Community I definitely recommend Opera as an alternative to Mozilla's FireFox (which is also very good, and stable). | Opera is excellent - I remember using it years ago when I was on dialup [when it had the sponsorship banner]. Unfortunatley, there are some features that Firefox has that Opera doesn't.

| No one has to "switch" anything! Computers are capable of running hundreds of different web browsers, if that's how many you want to install. Web browsers are not like an Operating System. You can have many versions, in every flavor, style, color and shape that you want. I have 4 web browsers installed on my home PC. I don't have to "switch" anything. Some browsers are better for some things than others. When accessing CompuForums, I usually use Internet Explorer. However, depending what I'm doing, I may access it with Opera. I get the same results, no matter what. Last edited by Tom; 05-06-2007 at 11:31 AM. |
