| Hello Jasmine, I am not aware of any program/service that lets you phone landlines/mobiles for free. The reason for this is the VOIP providers have to pay a phone bill as well when calling regular numbers. However, if you want to make cheap calls, Skype is the way to go - it's pretty much the lowest rate I've seen, it's cheap because they use a line closest to the location you are calling, usually in the same area code.

| u could always give vonage ago as they only charge 5.99 a month for first six months then 7.99 after that an it uses ya internet just like skype also u can use ya original house phone on it too an there mobile costs are 15 pence in the day time 10 pence evenings 5 pence weekends and for that its free to other vonage users and landlines in this country i save about 30 pounds a month with them also just have a look at the vonage site its a .co.uk unless u in america then .com hope this helps |

| voip.com is diff site but the same idea as vonage, but vonage is cheaper and a growing concern they even do a mobile/cell phone that works straight of the wireless connections around the countrys. ie in hotels airports all hotspots really. and ive got the vonage box in my house connected to my wireles network an it runs fine only have a small dip in sound quality over the phone when downloadin torrents but nothing to worry about its a great service an no i dont work for em. i just think that when it works well why not tell others |

| You may be able to get VoIP to work on dialup, but the quality will be really bad. If you want to use VoIP, you really should get broadband.

| Skype is not designed for dialup and works pretty slow, however have you tried jajah? You starts calls on the internet which then rings your phone which then calls the other person. The reason it is free is because they sell premium services and they use voip/internet most of the way through the call. JAJAH - web-activated telephony |

| havent tried your site, reece296. awww that's too bad, i cant afford a broadband connection right now. although ive tried voip.com, it seems working fine with my measly bandwidth. doesnt take too much bandwidth at all. i can still search the net. skype is out of the question. |

| You enter your phone number and the number of the person you want to call. Then, a few seconds later, your phone will start to ring. Pick it up, and your call will be connected.

| Yes, you go onto JAJAH - web-activated telephony and log in. Then input the telephone number you want to call, and it will call you then call the other person. For the calls to be free the person also must be registered on jajah |
