IMHO, IE (any version) is not that "bad". Microsoft being the 900 lb gorilla is the target of more hacking. FF has also been hacked and there are security patches for it as well. One works just as well as the other 99% of the time.

Again, being the 900 lg gorilla, MS has attemped to hi-jack the internet as well with .NET, etc., which are not always ISOC compliant. When you encounter sites that have adopted MS's "enhancements" - FF will not always work (display correctly).

I keep both on my machines.

Well I have never had a problem with Firefox at all. Internet Explorer 7 has giving me a lot of problems. In my opinion any browser is better then Internet Explorer 7.

I will always stick to firefox, it is just more smoother and easier to use.
