Default motherboard comp question

is ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard AM2+ compatible?
im getting a phenom processor which is AM2+ and the mobo says AM2 but under combos, you can get it with phenom.

I'm really confused...help?

That I can tell you maybe its a mistake by newegg let me do some more research and I will get back to you. Even on Neweggs site it says Socket AM2.
