Hi Newbie here, I hope I put this in the right thread, bare with me.
I just ordered a new Intel MB (DG33FBC LGA 775),CPU (Pentium E2180 Allendale Dual core),Liteon sata DVD Burner with lightscribe, and 2GB 1x2 DDR2 crucial memory, All from Newegg. I have a 160gb Sata HD that I'm using now and will be installing it in the upgrade. My question is do I have to format the HD, it's has winxp home edition on it already along with all my other things. Thanks bwise1 Last edited by bwise1; 04-04-2008 at 12:40 AM. Reason: Typo |

It's a new HD I've had it about a month, I formatted the HD when I first installed it. I didn't think I had to format it, but I just wanted to be sure. I'm new at this stuff so better safe than sorry. Thanks for your reply. It helped a lot.

The human ego will never disappear as long as desire remains present. Humans will continue to fight to fulfill their bodies desires and it will never end. At this rate there is no future. |
