I'm wanting to over clock my Intel C2D E4500, but I don't know if it is safe with the stock cooling. First off, I need to know what is a "safe" temperature to run at. I ran a stress test and got up to about 60 C and stopped it. Is this too high? What is the "recommended" CPU temperature?

I wouldn't advise overclocking unless you really know what you are doing, otherwise its likely to end in tears. I will not give advice to anyone on any forum or anywhere for that matter, because all overclocking varies from processor to processor and if i gave you advice and it went wrong I would feel responsible and guilty. Maybe someone else on here may want to advise you....

hmm.. from what I have heard, Intels are a little dodgey to be over clocking... I might be wrong though
