| ....i have a Toshiba laptop *Specs* Intel(R) Celeron M CPU 1.73GHz 502MB RAM Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family Windows Vista Basic 32-bit ....and i was wondering if i am able to get a new graphic card, or an update? becuz im trying to play some game....but my current card doesnt support it =/ by the way,the game is Silkroad Online THX |

| A laptops video card is usually intergrated into the motherboard, so upgrades are out of the question. I discussed something similar to this a while back about an external graphics card for a laptop, found here external gpu and here External Graphics Card??. A drawback to this product is the fact that you would have to buy an external monitor as well. But considering i can't find any articles on this product that are newer than 7 months ago, and the fact that it was supposed to be available in May, I would be skeptical about this product ever being released. | You can make an upgrade but only if you have a graphics card, not the accelerator as Mobile Intel Express Chipset Family. I've had a Dell Inspiron 6000 with the accelerator installed and I've been having the similar problem. |
