Technically, that power supply would work, but is not recommended. It is likely that you could just install the power supply upside down, but it would direct the heat inside the case, which is bad for components. Might i suggest this one?
Newegg.com - Rosewill RX950-D-B ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91 950W Power Supply 100 - 240 V TUV, FCC, UL, CE, ROHS - Retail
The features are the same and it costs the same, but the fan faces the rear, which is best for that case.

I agree with Phosphonothioic. Although I am not a gamer by any means. A friend of mine uses a decent Alienware laptop and pretty much plays what he wants. Check out their site.http://http://www.alienware.com/prod...l_default.aspx

i know that pre-assembled computers are the way to go, but i've already bought some of the parts, and the motherboard and case are already in the hands of my parents, so i really cant go back on what my plans were. mostly cause i dont have the money haha.

If your main purpose is to play games I would stick with Windows XP because you will have to use either wine or cedega and it isnt 100%. There are alot of games in Linux that you can install right from Kubuntu, but if you want Windows games XP is your best option atleast for now

The reason I said XP instead of Vista is Vista is a resource Hog!! Trust me I know I am using it . I haven't had any problems with my games on Vista, but that doesnt mean that you might not or I won't down the line. So if you want to make the best use out of you hardware I would go with XO over Vista.
