lcd's are getting pretty cheap nowadays. i'm getting a 28" for about $600 which is cheap, especially for 1080p resolution.

yeah, but it's bigger than my 19" p.o.s. t.v. and it's 1080p. granted, i can get a 720p lcd tv that is the same size for far less, but it wont have the 3ms refresh rate. and besides, i don't watch that much t.v. anyways.

The motherboard should be able to support the cpu, but the RAM could be bumped down to PC2 6400, which that motherboard supports.

Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail
This should save you about $80.

Try the dell desktop which is made for gaming (need to check the name) thats suppose to be really good

otherwise try alien ware - their computers are very powerful look trendy and can be custom build at a reasonablt price for the quality of product you are getting

hey guys, im a noob when it comes to power supplies.

does this power supply Newegg.com - Rosewill RX950-S-B ATX 12V v2.2 & EPS 12V v2.91 950W Power Supply 100 - 240 V TUV, FCC, UL, CE, ROHS - Retail

work with this case? http://http://www.newegg.com/Product...82E16811156062

cause the power supply looks like the fan is on top, which if installed seems like it would be pointing right into the bottom of the top of the case?

please help with this, because besides this little worry, my system is practically built.

once again, i'm hoping to buy the power supply tonight so if you guys could help as soon as possible, it would be greatly appreciated. i understand the power supply is atx compatible, but then the specs get all 12V~1.2v weirdness. please help

I can't see the case with the link you provided. Have you already ordered the power supply or case? Also, please tell me what the make and model of the case is.
