well i looked it up on google again (this time calling it 9 series instead of 9000 series) and i found the answer on wiki (one of the best sites ever made). if all goes well it should come out in november. heres a link.

Two 8800 ultra's in sli is a ton of money and would require one heck of a psu.

dont get two ultras in SLI! for starters its overkill and secondly it will cost u an arm and a leg and the heat will be huge! as the ultra gives off alot more heat than the gtx.. and by the time a game will even utalise two ultras there will be single cards out that will pwn it anyway... do what im doing get a single GTX that way u can still pwn any game thats out and comming out for the next year and a bit and by then u could have saved up to buy whatever comes out... but SLI'ing ultras is just pointless
