| okay to find motherboard model number: go to CPUID and downlaod the lastest version of cpu -z ( lint at top left corner) and save to your desktop , install and run go to the main board tab and copy the model number down into a reply |

| I suggest doing what Southparkxp101 said download CPUID then when you find out what brand your sound card is go to your computer brand Dell,or whatever you may have website and download the driver for your sound card.

| Look buddy, if it's a built on sound card, then the audio ports will eject from the motherboard. If it's not a built on sound card, then the sound card will be inserted into the motherboard, vertical to the mother board. Get it? If not? Take a picture of the inside of your computer, and then post the picture. If you don't have a camera? Consider giving us the model# of your motherboard |

| model number is A7N266VM... sorry about that. i read somewhere that i should just uninstall the device and reboot to let the computer relocate it. is this sound advice? ________________________ This user added the following: ________________________ ummm.. weeeeell, the uninstall idea didnt work. ________________________ This user added the following: ________________________ Quote:
