| Hi everyone, I have a strange problem. I can hear audio from a CD or a file that's been downloaded onto the computer, but I can't hear audio from the Internet. For example, I can't hear videos done with Flash, and I have Flash installed. Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can fix it? Thanks! |

| Hi there cedwards44, Firstly, welcome to CompuForums. I hope that you can visit our forum often in the future and post - rather than just receiving our help and advice, and then never visiting again. We provide our help for free, and all we ask in return is that you participate in our forum and refer your friends, or consider a premium membership. To verify that this isn't simply a browser-based issue, can you download and install Firefox, then when prompted, reinstall the flash plugin? Get it from: http://www.compuforums.org/get-firefox.html

| Hi Ashley, thanks for the quick reply. I already use Firefox. But I'll try and install it again. UPDATE: I tried installing the Flash plug-in again, but still no sound from the Internet. Last edited by cedwards44; 06-18-2007 at 02:26 PM. Reason: Update |

| Hi guys. About the Internet Audio issue ... I'm not familiar with FireFox settings/plug-ins (I'm an Opera user). With Internet Explorer (6 and 7) be sure your Advanced settings are allowing for Interent audio: IE > Tools > Interent Options > Advanced > Multimedia > Play Sound in Webpages is checked. |
