Question Parallel Port Use

Out of curiosity, I was wondering who still uses a parallel port for home use. Please post your reply with the name of the device you use the port in conjunction with.

This is a parallel port:

Mines plugged into something, I think it's my printer. Both PC and printer are about 10 or 11 years old.

I have a couple of printers at work that are about 10 years old that need these ports because i dont feel like running to radioshack and paying $30 for a usb adaptor

I never use parallel.
I used to have a Parallel printer but I could not connect it to my laptop because it didn't have a parallel port. So I called staples and they said an adapter would cost $40, so I just bought a new printer that connect through usb.

I use older legacy data acquisition devices hooked up to parallel ports daily, and have several microprocessor programmers that still require a parallel port. It is getting harder to find newer PC's with the port and would like to find a USB to Parallel adapter that works, in that the DB25 connector is a real LPT port and not a Windows Printer Adapter that only works when hooked up to a parallel printer.
