disk space

i think this belongs here. i have a problem with my diskspace, it keeps saying that i have "criticly low disk space" it say's that i have only 41 MB of disc space, but ive cleaned it over and over and went to control panel and deleted everything i dont use, i have used system restore, set a restore point when the computer was good andit still messes up. if you need any other info just let me know

How big is your hard drive, and how much do you have on there? You may have just used up all of your disk space.

OK - what is the manufacturer and model number of your computer?

its a compaq, the model number is 8R1103WM

There's nothing on the model you have specified, can you confirm the model number is correct?

is the system number the same as the model number? this might be it tho SR1000

Are you running any antivirus, antispyware and/or firewall? If so, what products?
What is the exact error that comes up? [a screenshot will be helpful]
What have you tried in order to fix the problem so far?

i've got norton antivirus, i kept that when deleted everything. and the error that comes up is a little pop-up balloon that say's "you are running on only 41MB of disc space, this is a critical ammount" then it tells me to free up disk space. i've went to control panel and deleted everything almost, ive done a disk clean-up, ive done a system restore and creted a new restore point when the computer was good.

Do you have any other security software? I've found that Norton tends to take up system resources. Consider switching to a better product.

Make sure you install some in place.
