| I have been having this problem for a few months, but lately its gotten really anoying. The problem is with the buttons. I have to hit the mouse buttons really hard for it to click. And I don't want to use an external mouse. I think that it could be that there is dust under the buttons. What should I do? Get a new touchpad? |

| If your laptop is in-warranty, send it to the repair centre. If not, you should be able to get a replacement touchpad from somewhere like eBay. I do not advise taking the touchpad apart to see what you can do about it - I broke my laptop's keyboard twice trying to clean it. You can also use the touchpad entirely for clicking - just tap it when you want to click. Also, you can set it up so you can tap in a corner of it to right-click.
