Default Disable turbo Cache - Palit 7300GS?

Hi I have the above video card and I have been reading that disabling the TurboCache is a good idea (the card has 256mb of DDR2)

Can you please tell me how to do this?

Thank you.

Hi. As long as you have more than 512mb of system RAM, turbocache will always be enabled. I think you can find that on the Nvidia website. However, there is one thing to keep in mind--if the application you're running doesn't need more VRAM than what's integrated on the video card, it will not use the "turbocached" system memory, and you'll have it to use for regular system tasks. However, let's say you're playing a game with a lot of textures that wants gobs and gobs of VRAM, it will go and use the amount of system RAM that it has allocated for turbocache. Turbocache is permanently on and cannot be disabled as long as there is more than 512mb of system memory.

I hate both turbocache and hypermemory (ATI equivalent) and try to convince anyone looking at either of those types of cards to get a real stand-alone card with as much dedicated memory as they want. But if you're not playing games, then the turbocache won't be used anyway--it's on a "need to use" basis, and you'll have that sytem RAM for your applications.
