Unhappy Help! What kind of RAM do I buy???

Hi all! I'm having a bit of a problem. I'm wanting to upgrade the RAM on an older computer that I have but I have no idea what kind of RAM to buy, being a newbie at the whole memory upgrade thing. I have tried a couple of those websites which are supposed to tell you what kind of RAM you need, but they don't work for my computer!!!!
My computer is a Seanix with 256 MB DIMM (333 MHz) RAM currently installed (factory). I bought this computer for cheap (secondhand) and really just need a memory upgrade. If anyone can help me out and tell me what kind of RAM to buy I would greatly appreciate it!! Thank you ahead of time!!

Hi. It's not a whole lot of info to go on, but after googling what you mentioned, I think that you very likely have 184-pin PC2100 DDR RAM--which is pretty mainstream and largely available at most office-supply stores that also sell computer components. If you are comfortable with opening up the computer and removing the piece of RAM, you can take it with you to the store and they can easily get you the right one. Or some computer/electronics stores will install the RAM for you for a fee--really not that worth it, but if you're a bit timid about doing it yourself, it might not be a bad idea.

But any 184-pin PC2100 (aka 333MHz) DDR RAM will work. I hope that helped. If you're looking for what brand to buy, Corsair is pretty universal, and is pretty good.

Try Crucial.com they have a scanner that will assist you in finding exactly what you need - Or as guyladouche said you can pick the ram you need at any retailer - You can also try ZIPZOOMFLY.com or EWIZ.COM and they have a very good inventory for all of your computer needs.
