| I want to protect my work PC. Sometimes family and friends use it when I'm not working. I know they wouldn't change anything on purupose but just want to be safe. |

| If you are running Windows XP, try enabling the "Guest" account for them to use, this is a very locked down account that will help protect against misuse. Although if you are running another OS, please post to us, and we'll try and find a solution. Is your work PC connected via VPN or Domain?

| If you want to stop people messing around with your computer - just put a password on your account. You can get software to lock it down but it's designed for kiosks - not home computers. If you leave your computer unattended, just press the Windows key + L. Then your computer will be password-protected and nobody will be able to mess with it.
